AB Recipe: Ranger Donuts

Ranger DonutsEvery once in a while we like to surprise our guests with an extra special treat. Imagine crawling out of your tent in the morning and strolling over to our camp kitchen to get your morning coffee or tea to find freshly made hot donuts!  Yum!

We often mix the dry ingredients up before our tour so that we only need to add the wet ingredients before frying.

This recipe makes roughly 2 dozen donuts or 3 dozen donut holes. Mix your ingredients together. Dough will be soft. Dust with flour to help rolling out and cutting. Alternatively, make dough-balls roughly 1 inch thick. Deep fry in oil for 2-3 minutes on each side. Cut a donut to make sure they are cooking through. Drain on a paper towel. Enjoy with morning coffee and take a few for later out on the trail!
