Denali Shuttle Bus

We spend one of our days in Denali National Park traveling 66 miles into the park on the Denali Shuttle Bus. We travel to the Eielson Visitor Center. Along the way we’ll have great views of the unique Denali landscape including braided rivers, alpine meadows, and of course the Alaska Range with Denali, the highest peak in North America at 20,310 feet. It’s also very likely we’ll see all kinds of wildlife including grizzly bears, black bears, caribou, moose, ptarmigans, dall sheep, arctic fox and wolves.
We take a break from the Bus tour at the Eielson Visitor Center and hike the Tundra Loop Trail or the Eielson Alpine Trail. The Bus stops for all wildlife sightings, after all, that is what we are there for!
