John McMahon is from Minnesota and has been on our Death Valley and the Mojave Desert tour twice.  On all of his tours with us, (he has also been on our Oregon Bound, Dakota Badlands and Black Hills and Best of the West tours) he enjoys capturing the uniqueness of the landscape with his various filters and wide angle lenses.  He has shared the following photos with us and done just that, capturing the starkness, shapes, textures and colors of the Mojave Desert.  His favorite place on the Death Valley and Mojave Desert  tour is Zabriskie Point and Golden Canyon  in Death Valley, the first two photos below.
