Day 2
Begin the day by breathing some fresh mountain air in the world's first national park, Yellowstone! Hike past Fountain Paint Pots, Morning Glory Geyser, and of course the most famous geyser, Old Faithful. Watch Old Faithful erupt boiling water and stream 30 meters into Wyoming’s blue sky.
Day 3
Explore the “Grand Canyon of Yellowstone” with its 300 ft waterfalls, raging Yellowstone River, and wildflower meadows. Watch bison grazing in Hayden Valley. Later, we’ll peek inside the bubbling Dragon’s Cauldron and end the day with a campfire under the stars.
Day 4
Grand Teton is known for its sharp, snow capped peaks and excellent hiking trails. We’ll visit the Colter Bay area first, and let you loose to hike past serene Jackson, Heron and Swan Lakes where it is likely you'll spot deer, moose or elk! Rent a canoe to explore the nearby inlets, or take a scenic boat ride around the lake.
Day 5
Take a short boat ride across Jenny Lake at the base of Grand Teton Mountain, hike past Hidden Falls, Inspiration Point, and continue into Cascade Canyon. This canyon is filled with wildlife, flowers, and waterfalls. Follow Cascade Creek up into the canyon, and you are likely to see a moose or two!
Day 6
Explore this cowboy town for the day, or, do a little horseback riding or white water rafting on the Snake River! Enjoy the many galleries, shops and restaurants.
Day 7
We'll roll back into Salt Lake City between 10-12 noon, exchange emails so we can share photos, and say our goodbyes to all of our new friends!
