Day 1 Depart Salt Lake City
Depart Salt Lake City 2:00 PM
We start this fantastic trip by picking up you and your fellow Adventurers in Salt Lake City. We’ll prep you for your adventure and then enjoy a comfortable journey to camp at the doorstep of our first Utah national park, Zion!
Day 2 Zion
Zion National Park
The towering red sandstone walls of Zion are magnificent! Hike the world famous Narrows, a river walk through the canyon, the Emerald Pools past waterfalls, or the magnificent Angel’s Landing Trail for a panoramic view of the canyon. We’ll continue our journey to cookout and camp just outside of our next great destination, Bryce!
Day 3 Bryce
Bryce Canyon National Park
Almost out of a fairy tale, Bryce is like nothing you’ve ever seen. Spend the day among the “HooDoos”, by hiking the Navajo Loop and Queen’s Garden Trails, or stare at the maze of ancient sandstone spires from the rim of the canyon. Later, enjoy a short drive to Mystic Hot Springs for a relaxing soak in a natural hot spring and a delicious cookout.
Day 4 Dead Horse/Canyonlands
Dead Horse Point and Canyonlands
The overlooks and vistas of Dead Horse Point and Canyonlands parks rival that of the Grand Canyon. Walk along the canyon rims, take a short hike to Mesa Arch, and if time allows, we’ll check out some petroglyphs before we settle into our campsite along the Colorado River.
Day 5 Moab UT
Secret Canyons of Moab, Utah
We’ll hike to beautiful Corona Arch right from our campsite. In the afternoon, we’ll explore a local secret canyon with amazing waterfalls, fantastic petroglyphs and pictographs of the ancient Freemont and Anasazi Indians. Cool off from the hike with a swim in a natural sandstone carved pool. Enjoy a dinner out in Moab, Utah tonight.
Day 6 Moab Excursions
Free Day in Moab, Utah
Raft the Colorado, mountain bike, horseback ride, rent a jeep, try your hand at canyoneering, or relax and shop in Moab for the day. ($20-$80). We’ll assist you in setting up your day’s adventure by recommending reliable companies. In the evening, we recommend taking a sunset tour into Moab’s beautiful outback on the unique UniMog. ($35)
Day 7 Arches
Arches National Park
Spend the day hiking among giant natural sandstone arches sculpted by wind and time in the Devil’s Garden. There is no other place like this in the world! Later we’ll cool off in a swim hole or campground pool, toast some marshmallows around the campfire, or sample the brews of Moab, Utah!
Day 8 Return to Salt Lake City
Return to Salt Lake City
We’ll roll back into Salt Lake City between 10-12noon, exchange emails so we can share photos, and say our goodbyes to all of our new friends!
