Mt. Hood, Oregon Beaches, Crater Lake, Oregon Dunes, Columbia River Gorge.
A 7 day national parks adventure, featuring, camping, hiking, tide pooling, waterfalls, beaches, local seafood, local fruit and wide variety of landscapes.
This trip is good for all physical levels/abilities.

Day 1 Departure City: Portland, OR
We pick you and your fellow adventures up in Portland, OR at 2PM and head for our first destination on the Oregon Coast! Enjoy beautiful views of the rugged Oregon Coast on our afternoon drive. Watch for whales! Take an evening stroll to watch the sunset over the ocean at our first destination: South Beach State Park.
Day 2 Cape Perpetua
Just a short drive down the coast we’ll explore Cape Perpetua. We’ll have several hiking options there, through thick pine forests, down to the tide pools along the rocky coast, and to the Devil’s Churn. In the afternoon we’ll stop at the quaint coastal town of Florence. Try out some local seafood. We’ll camp at Honeyman State Park. Anyone up for a sunset Dune hike?
Day 3 Oregon Dunes
In the morning we’ll take a short stroll in Oregon Dunes NRA to the Pacific Ocean. We’ll head to Crater Lake National Park in the afternoon through the scenic Umpqua National Forest and camp in the Park.
Day 4 Crater Lake
Hike along the Crater Rim today or take a guided Trolley ride around the entire rim of Crater Lake. For more of a challenge, hike Garfield Peak. In the afternoon, we’ll drive through the high desert and volcanic areas of Oregon and settle in a campground to watch the sunset with Mount Jefferson and Mount Hood in the distance!
Day 5 Mt Hood
We’ll head to Timberline Lodge at the base of Mt Hood for incredibles vistas, fun trails, and a beautiful historic lodge. Before settling into our campground, we’ll eat out at near by Government Camp. Sample some local eats and brews! End the day at Mt Hood Village Campground where we can access even more hiking trails in the evening.
Day 6 Columbia River Gorge
We’ll drive to the Columbia Gorge with a stop at Multnomah Falls. You can feel the mist from this beautiful waterfall. We’ll hike to other waterfalls such as Wahkeena and Weisendanger Falls as well. We’ll camp another night at Mt Hood Village Campground.
Day 7 Return to Portland
We’ll return to Portland by 10am-12noon.

Trip Details
Arrival & Departure
Departs and returns to Portland, OR. Our Departure Hotel: Super 8 Portland Airport, 11011 NE Holman, Portland, OR 97220 503-257-8988.
They have a free airport shuttle if you stay at the hotel, and free shuttle to the Public Train (The MAX) which takes you into Downtown Portland. There are 5-6 other hotels within walking distance as well as restaurants.
Transportation
This tour features our unique Adventure Bus sleeper coach.
Accommodations
This tour features tent camping and bus bunking. We’ll provide the tents and sleeping pads. You’ll need to rent or bring a sleeping bag. Contact us for helpful hints on accommodations and flights before and after your tour.
Weather
Warm to hot days and cool to chilly nights are typical in the on this tour. Rain can be expected.
Food
Our meals are geared to provide you with the fuel you need to get through your active days, and yet still extremely tasty. We can accommodate all dietary needs.

The hikes featured on this tour vary in length, technicality, and difficulty. There is something for everyone.
