Day 1

Depart Las Vegas 9am

We start this fantastic trip by picking up you and your fellow Adventurers in Las Vegas. We’ll prep you for your adventure and then enjoy a comfortable journey to Valley of Fire State Park. We’ll spend the day scrambling on sandstone and hiking past petroglyph panels and petrified wood. End the day with a cookout and a campfire under the stars.

Day 2

Red Rocks NCA and Death Valley

After a stop at the Red Rocks Visitor Center, we’ll continue along the 13 mile scenic drive with a stop at Willow Springs Picnic area for lunch. Our journey continues to Death Valley for a sunset cookout and campfire… below sea-level! You’ll see the stars as you’ve never seen them before and maybe hear a coyote or two!

Day 3

Death Valley National Park

Death Valley is the largest National Park in the lower 48. We’ll begin at the stunning overlook at Zabrieski’s Point and hike down Golden Canyon. Then it is off to Badwater Basin, the lowest spot in the U.S., at 282 BELOW sea level. Tonight, experience the silky warm waters of Tecopa Hot Springs and another great cookout.

Day 4

Mojave National Preserve

Cacti of all kinds carpet this park! Step into the past as we explore the newly refurbished Historic Kelso Depot. We’ll play on the Kelso Sand Dunes and explore the truly unique geology and petroglyphs on a hike near Hole in the Wall. Tonight, we’ll rest our heads in a forest of Joshua Trees!

Day 5

Joshua Tree National National Park

A playground for kids of all ages, climbers and hikers love Joshua Tree! If you love technical hiking, this is a place you’ll never forget. Stick to the trail, or scamper around on the boulders! Either way, you’ll never know what lizard, bird, or blooming cactus may be hiding around the next bend! We’ll explore Hidden Valley, Barker Dam, Skull Rock, or for a bit more of a challenge, hike up Ryan Mt for a panoramic view of the park.

Day 6

Return to Las Vegas by noon.

We’ll return to Las Vegas between 10-12 noon.

-See the Belagio Fountains
-Experience Fremont Street Downtown
-Relax by the Pool!

Transportation

This tour features our unique Adventure Bus sleeper coach.

Accommodations

This tour features tent camping and bus bunking. We’ll provide the tents and sleeping pads. You’ll need to rent or bring a sleeping bag. Contact us for helpful hints on accommodations and flights before and after your tour.

Weather

Warm to hot days and cool to chilly nights are typical on this tour. Nights at the higher elevations of Joshua Tree can be chilly. The temperatures drop off quickly in the desert!

Food

Our meals are geared to provide you with the fuel you need to get through your active days, and yet still extremely tasty. We can accommodate all dietary needs.
