I am a Chinese. This was my
4th trip to US. After the first two trip spent most
of my time in NYC, DC, LA, SF, LV ..., I decided to
explore more about the real nature of America. Last
trip, I went to Yellowstone and Grand Canyon which
totally impressed me.
I found this trip on the
internet, while I was suffering from trying to pick
a right trip for me. Most of my friends are still
indulging in shopping in 5th avenue or fan of Disney
Land. And I do not want to travel on my own. While
at the same time, I just wonder whether camping is a
good idea for a person who never had done that
before, even in his own country. I could not resist
the scenery I had seen from some photos online, I
firmly made up mine mind that I will choose this
trip, whatever challenges I would meet. And I had to
not tell my friends and colleagues, since all of
them thought I was crazy.
The fact is, the trip was way
beyond my expectation. The scenery, undoubtedly, was
beautiful. I am amazed that within only 1 week of
the travel time, I had seen so many different kinds
of geographicentity. Some of them are only such
type exist in US. The trip arrangement was so
fantastic that every detail has been covered. I was
taken good care of that I needed not to worry about
nothing but enjoying the beautifulness. I really
love the idea of travel with the bus. I can sit,
sleep, lay on any part of the bus. (Hardly to
imagine if I travel in the car or some tourist bus
with 45 people on it). And the people on the bus is
so friendly, which makes the bus more like a place
for a big family. As a foreign traveler, who already
traveled 20 countries, I think this is the only way
that not only I could see the scenery, but
understand the history / culture and make friends as
well. And this is my definition of the true meaning
of TRAVEL. It is not a luxury (not for the people
who expecting to have Ritz Carlton). But it is
comfortable, convenient. Most importantly, it
gives you the fun which I do not think any other
such trip could provide. Really enjoy it and can not
help thinking of my next trip with Adventure Bus.
Last, I need to express my respect and thanks to the
boss, and the chef, and the driver, and the tourist
guide, Stephanie

Well, the
first time I traveled with Adventure Bus back in 2004, I
expected to see some beautiful National Parks, get some
awesome hikes in and not have to worry about driving,
cooking or dragging a bunch of gear around. What I
didn't expect was to make some great friends, and have
such amazing memories. Whenever I need to revisit
beauty, I close my eyes and think about the places
you've taken me. I've missed a few years because
children came right after that first trip but I'm back
now. Last year's Washington trip once again surpassed my
expectations on so many levels, and I came back to my
family a much better person. I'm anxious for my next
adventure this year. Laura

Well I do have to say this has
been an adventure! You both do a super job handling all
of the varied personalities. I am so happy I finally got
to see Yellowstone and Grand Teton and was able to hike
some awesome trails. Thanks for everything and I hope to
see you next year, hopefully with my kids! Take care!

Adventure Bus-Thanks
so much for the fantastic trip to Grand Canyon,
Yellowstone etc. I particularly enjoyed sun bathing on
the North Rim of the Canyon and seeing that grizzly at
Yellowstone. The hikes were particularly enjoyable,
especially the one to the outhouse. One suggestion, next
time , it would be great if you could have a hair dryer
on board for general use. But SERIOUSLY, now that I am
done paying you two to be my friend, maybe you can come
and visit me in Boston! Hope to see you again next
year. I can't wait to come back.
PS Did I mention this was the best vacation/trip I've
ever had? You 2 rule! Melissa Best of the National

The best part of the trip was
the relaxed camping feeling and the outdoors environment.
Loved it all. Thanks for a wonderful trip. Carl

Thanks for dreaming up such an awesome
trip- It was amazing walking in the steps of the
Ancestral Puebloans and seeing how they lived so long
ago. The petroglyphs were so interesting as well as the
cliff dwellings. And the food- Yummo. Thanks again for
the planning and hard work you do to make sure city
dwellers like me can get out and enjoy the wonders of
America that make our country so unique. Hope to see you
soon!

Brilliant I loved every national park and I adored
Monument Valley Chocolate Chip Pancakes were the
highlight of the food. Rafting was so fun even when the
wave drenched us. There was nothing bad about the trip I
didn't enjoy. Eden
It was
Brill! I loved it all especially the rafting

truly have something great going on here!
I love Adventure Bus!
This is trip number two, and I'm ready for more! I love the bus,
the fresh air, and activity, the sights, and the people, (oh
yeah, the food too!) If I had the time and money, I would come

"No
Regrets!
Everything about the trip
better than expected! Will never
forget waking up by the lake and thinking wow. And then every day
got better and better! You must use the Slickrock Campground when it
is windy! (like sleeping in a tumble dryer! )I could write pages
about how fantastic this trip has been. This trip was organized to
celebrate a great bloke's 50th birthday, and its been every bit as
special as I could have hoped for. Well done! The memories are
priceless!" -Barry Slickrock Express Charter

Hey AdventureBus Team! It has been GREAT being on this trip with
you... so many highlights... Thank you again for providing real
good, tasty food... at all times. I will definitely recommend AB
to anyone wanting to do trips like this. May God bless you in
your business life as well as in your personal life! Andy,

Thanks to you both, I can now
pee in the great outdoors without shame! Seriously, I’ve so
appreciated the “up close and personal” look/experience: from
the bacteria mats (Yellowstone of course) to buffalo burgers.
Your expertise has been invaluable and your humor and
flexibility has made this week one of the greatest adventures of
my life to date! Jill, Go North, June 2004 |

Thanks a lot Stephanie and Ardell!
I had lots of fun while I was in Utah and want to come back in
the near future. This trip was an inspiration to me to travel
the world and taught me there is more out in this world than
just what is in Ohio. Thanks again! Gloria, (age 12) Grand Canyon and the Wild West July, 2004

The combination of the places we went and the things we
did, while sharing it all with such great people from
all over the globe. The experience was truly one
that I believe could only be had on the AdventureBus. I
would never trade it for a hotel. |
 |

It offers just the right amount of adventure where you
don't have to be in top physical shape. Stephanie and
Ardell are really great people and the food is fabulous.
I would highly recommend their trips to any one that
loves the outdoors and camping but where you don't have
to take ten mile hikes.
Jim has
been on 4 tours, Death Valley and the Mojave Desert
twice, North to Yellowstone and The Great Glacier
Adventure. |

I came away
bursting with energy, feeling healthier than
ever before and burning with a desire to explore
even more. Memories of the view from the top of
Angels Landing, sunrise at Monument Valley,
shooting stars, camp fires, S'Mores, rapelling
off stone arches, rafting the Snake River,
spotting bison, moose and grizzlies. The great
people, delicious food, and amazing landscapes. |

Navajo
Stew! No, seriously - the utter joy of not having
to worry or plan anything once we're in your capable
hands. I loved so much about our trip:
learning new skills on Gooseberry Mesa, the Disneyland
ride that is Thunder Mountain; hiking in Arches National
Park; the Unimog ride in Moab;
Slickrock Trail! |

Our last trip in August 2006 (#4) was just great! I was
really relaxed and enjoyed everything so much. It was
especially nice to know what side trips I wanted to go
on, but I’m not sure I’ll do the horseback trip at Bryce
Canyon again. It was great and beautiful, expert guides
with a lot of knowledge about the area, but I just
wasn’t in good enough shape. Well, maybe I’ll try it
again. You never know. I especially loved the Navajo
stew that Ardell did. Super fantastic!! Of course all
the food was good all the time. I’ve already started
planning my next trip for next summer. Not sure which
one I want to do, but I’ll let you know as soon as I
know. Joan |

Joan has
been on, well lets just say A LOT of tours. She has even
brought her grandson and husband on a few too!

|

Mark and
Rebecca have now
been on 4, wait no 5, wait maybe it is 6 tours now!

Which time?
My first memory scary at first, but humorous
later) was seeing this safari van and a guy
looking like he had a really rough night walking
toward us from the Luxor parking lot in Vegas
saying, "You looking for AdventureBus?"
After loading up and heading out, this character
named Ardell passed this box of packaged
cinnimon buns around and said, "Here's
breakfast!" Although I thought we were in
trouble, the next few days of the Super Loop
were awesome. When we arrived back at Las
Vegas, Rebecca and I renewed our wedding vows at
the Viva Las Vegas Chapel.
Our second tour was Go North! The
Tetons, Jenny Lake, and Old Faithful! The beauty!
Although I did not see any grizzlies, but I did see
that same crazy Ardell retrieve his hat (that was
blown off by a gust of wind) from underneath a moose
standing along the trail in the Tetons! I also
enjoyed the white water rafting in Jackson Hole.
Rebecca and I both thought this was great. We saw
eagles soaring and awesome scenery. I decided to
stay for a second week, even though Rebecca had to
return home to work. Bryce, Zion, and Moab. There
was also a trail run down into the Canyon! I am
amazed by the panoramics of the west.
Year three - Rebecca and I
traveled the second half of my last year's tour.
Not only did we once again love Zion and Bryce, we
shopped Moab for decor for our kitchen that we had
just redone. Great metal work, pottery and more.
The evening ride in the Unimog over Fins and Things
and Hell's Revenge took me to places I never
imagined.
Year four - Trail of the Ancients
- This year I was thrilled and saddened. What
happened to these advanced people? Why did they
leave? But what an awesome place these people had
to call home!
From fireworks to forest fires,
white water to natural water slides, canyons to
mountains, Monument Valley to Sin City, AdventureBus
has taken Rebecca and I all over the region. Dreams
of leaving this coast for the mountains, lakes,
arches and valleys in the Western US are played over
and over in our minds. Although we were unable to
travel AdventureBus this year over the 4th of July,
we attempted to call and wish the tour a happy
Independence Day! AdventureBus has changed our
perception of the world we live in. Thank You AB!
